Marta Urbaniec

Graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences at the Jagiellonian University – geology, and postgraduate studies in library science and scientific information at the Pedagogical University of Krakow, coordinator of the Open Science Team at the AGH University Main Library. Expert in Open Science, particularly in the area of research data management and Open Access publishing. In 2023, she completed the “Research Data Management for Data Stewards” course at the basic and intermediate levels. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Open Science Competence Network – Data Steward PL and Deputy Coordinator of the RODBUK Data Management Group. Her responsibilities include, among others: supporting researchers in managing research data and publishing in Open Access, consulting Data Management Plans (DMPs), administering the RODBUK repository and the AGH Repository, as well as local management of OA programs. She co-organizes the “AGH Data Stewards Academy” course.
