Dariusz Ignatiuk

Two years of experience as a Scientific Integration & Data Officer at SIOS – Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (Norway). From 2022, Data Steward at the University of Silesia in Katowice. He conducts classes with students and PhD students in the field of data management, including Databases in scientific research, Best practices in data sharing. Implementer of the CRIOS Cryosphere Integrated Observatory Network on Svalbard project (www.crios.pl), harmonizing observations in the Arctic and making data available in accordance with the FAIR data principles. Leader of project HarSval – A bilateral initiative for harmonization of the Svalbard cooperation, one of the goals of which is to create a system of distributed repositories with one access point for Polish data collected in the polar regions.
