The Wroclaw Medical University is a co-founder and leader of Poland’s largest open repository of medical publications and research data – the Polish Platform of Medical Research (PPM), which operates on the basis of the 2018 Open Access Policy of the Polish Platform of Medical Research (PPM) . The WMU has also joined the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) – an European coalition whose goal is to improve the research assessment system.
