The University of Lodz has made efforts to conduct its publishing policy in line with the idea of Open Science. The University of Lodz Publishing House makes its published content available under open licences, using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) publishing platform and depositing monographs and journals in the University of Lodz Repository. A platform for open monographs is also being implemented in parallel. All journals published by UL Publishing House are published in the open model, and a change in the monograph publishing policy – also to a pro-open model – is also underway.
