Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility for the website and its components. Additionally, alternative means of access, such as requesting information from a digitally inaccessible document or describing the content of a video without audio description, are available. The request should include the requester’s data, specify the website in question, and provide a contact method. If the requester indicates information through an alternative means of access, they should also specify a convenient way to present this information. The public entity should fulfill the request promptly, within 7 days of the request date. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity should inform the requester promptly of when the request will be fulfilled, with a deadline not exceeding 2 months from the request date. If digital accessibility cannot be provided, the public entity may suggest an alternative means of accessing the information. If the public entity declines to provide accessibility or an alternative means of access, the requester may file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website or website element. After completing the aforementioned procedure, it is also possible to submit a request to the Ombudsman.
