As an expert with a long-standing commitment to the development of Polish science, he is, on behalf of ACK Cyfronet AGH, the project manager of the Repository of Open Research Data of Krakow Universities, responsible for the deployment and maintenance repository platform.
From 2021 to 2023, he was a member of the Advisory Team for Open Research Data at the Ministry of Education and Science.
Since 2014, he has been an employee of ACK Cyfronet AGH, and since 2020, head of the Operations Center Department, where he supervises and coordinates work on the operation of the PLGrid e-infrastructure and is responsible for the implementation of the strategic research infrastructure assumptions within the framework of the project “National Cloud Infrastructure PLGrid for EOSC,” included in the Polish Map of Research Infrastructures.
He holds a Ph.D. in physics and graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Science at Jagiellonian University. In 2013-2015, he was an assistant at the Stanisław Staszic University of Science and Technology in Krakow. From 2007 to 2015, a member of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
