University Coordinator for Open Access to Research Publications and Data, Deputy Director for Digital Resources and academic lecturer. He exercises substantive supervision over the work performed as part of the creation and management of the Jagiellonian Digital Library, the Jagiellonian University Repository and the development, sharing and archiving of digital resources. He coordinates the work of the KZB working team for the RODBUK Cracow Open Research Data Repository. He participated in the work of the Advisory Team of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for open access to scientific content. He participates in the work of expert groups related to the implementation of open science at universities, including: Open Science in the network of The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, Open Research Cluster within Una Europa and EOSC Poland. Author of scientific and popularization publications in the field of information management and the creation of digital libraries and repositories. He has many years of experience in: designing systems for managing digital resources, providing open access to scientific resources and evaluating scientific activities. In 2019, he received the title of Małopolska Librarian of the Year. In 2020, he was the winner of the SBP Scientific Award Adam Łysakowski in the “practical and implementation works” category.
