ACC Cyfronet AGH is one of the leading academic computer research institutions in Poland. It focuses on scalable distributed systems, cross-domain computations in loosely coupled environments, knowledge management and tools supporting data management life-cycle. Acts as the coordinator of the PL-Grid Infrastructure providing the Polish scientific community with an IT platform based on Grid computer clusters and cloud environments, enabling e-science research in various fields, supporting the Open Science paradigm. Cyfronet is involved in the evolution of European Open Science Cloud. Mostly its technical interfaces towards the researchers but also open science policy and governance aspects. With that activities Cyfronet became one of the expert European partners, knowledgable in the discovery of resources relevant in scientific research and their utilisation on computational infrastructures.
