Digital Humanities Centre at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CHC IBL PAN) has been coordinating activities related to the construction and use of infrastructure for literary and cultural research since 2013. The tools, services and methods we develop are aimed at all stages of the research process, from discovery of assets to their analysis and publication. CHC is guided by the FAIR principles and the rules of open science.

CHC cooperates with major European research infrastructures in the humanities and social sciences, i.a. OPERAS (member of EOSC), DARIAH, CLARIN), as well as their national branches. IBL PAN is a core member of OPERAS and CHC functions as the national node OPERAS-PL. Additionally, the head of CHC is a member of the SSH Open Cluster Governing Board.

IBL PAN adopted its open science policy on 1 February 2021. The document regulates the Institute’s procedures for depositing and sharing publications, as well publishing ethics and research data management. The policy encourages researchers to maintain data management plans, as well as depositing in the RCIN repository all scientific texts to which the authors have appropriate rights.
