Preparation and implementation of an openness policy at the ILR PAS

ILR PAS adopted its openness policy on 1 February 2021. The document has been tailored to the needs of the Institute, taking into account its specificities, needs and structure. The document regulates procedures related to depositing and making publications available at the Institute, as well as matters of publishing ethics and research data management. The openness policy also has the task of encouraging researchers to conduct data management plans for their research projects, as well as to deposit in RCIN (Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes) all scientific texts to which the authors have appropriate rights. The institutional openness policy of the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been registered in the international ROARMAP register. IBL PAN is one of 841 research institutions, including 8 Polish ones, whose openness policies have been approved by ROARMAP. ILR PAS is also the first Polish research institute in the humanities to be included in the register.
